Honouring heritage and rooted in family, the name Britton comes from founder Danni’s grandparents, Jean & John, who shaped and inspired her journey into bridal and occasion wear.
Jean, a textiles teacher, always took such pride in her appearance ~ forever dressed in her best ~ something that left a lasting impression and continues to influence everything we do today.
A meaningful thread woven into this next chapter of our story, our BOW lounge is dedicated to their memory ~ and to the women who stand beside us: the mothers, the bridesmaids, the special guests and the leading ladies whose presence makes every celebration complete.

Britton Occasion Wear is proudly situated within You Are Precious Bridal in the heart of Newcastle city centre ~ Our bridal townhouse where everything comes together under one roof. What began as a bridal boutique has grown into a space that now embraces occasion wear and bridesmaids, allowing us to support every woman connected to the celebration.
Located on the second floor of our townhouse, the BOW lounge brings a fresh, contemporary approach to Mother of the Bride, Mother of the Groom, bridesmaids and luxe occasion styling. A private, welcoming space designed to feel relaxed, personal and thoughtfully curated ~ our ‘BEST lounge’ as Jean would have said.
This space has been shaped entirely by you ~ your requests for modern, beautifully made occasion wear, your trust in our expertise, and your desire for an experience that feels just as special as our bridal appointments. It builds on everything You Are Precious Bridal is known for: refined collections, considered styling and a warm, welcoming atmosphere inspired by the leading women in our own family.
